This new aftermarket Haldex pump with part number 31367750 is designed for 5th generation Haldex / AOC AWD systems used in selected Volvo and Land Rover vehicles. The pump supplies the hydraulic oil pressure needed to clamp the multi-plate clutch pack and engage the rear wheels when traction is required.

Recommended Steps

- Clean the strainer with a lint-free cloth only
- Do not use cleaning liquids inside the pump sump or coupling housing
- Fill the coupling with fresh Haldex oil to the correct level
- Perform the correct calibration procedure after service
- Clear AWD / DEM fault codes after installation
Why Haldex Pumps Fail
1. Clogged Strainer / Gauze Screen
When the pump screen becomes blocked by contamination, the pump has to work harder to build pressure and can eventually burn out.
2. Old or Contaminated Oil
Neglected Haldex oil increases internal resistance and accelerates wear of the pump motor and pressure circuit.
3. Internal Pump Wear
Worn internal components, leaks, or electrical faults can cause pressure loss and AWD performance problems.
4. Incorrect Filling or Missing Calibration
Air in the coupling or missing calibration after service can trigger Gen 5 pressure faults and unstable AWD operation.
